How do I get more service calls?

It is not uncommon that sometimes the same day you activate your Spetz account as a specialist you may get your first service call. However, it is also perfectly normal if it takes a few days or longer before that happens.

If you feel you have not yet received any calls after at least two weeks, or you feel you aren't receiving enough service calls, check the following in your Spetz for Specialists app:

Are you correctly receiving service calls?
Check the Service Calls tab, any service calls directed to you would be listed there. (If you missed a service call that is listed, tap on the call number to reveal the customer's details and a dial button to call them back.)


Are your contact details correct?
Check to make sure the phone number and email address are set up correctly, go to Menu -> Settings -> My Details . (Also check that emails are not going to your junk/spam folder, and that the Spetz exclusive number has not been blocked by accident on the phone receiving the calls.)


Have you confirmed how you want to be notified of service calls?
Go to Menu -> Settings and check to make sure you are set to receive either SMS or email (ideally both).


Are you set as available to receive calls?
Check the "Unavailability" tab and look at the colour of the indicator on the top right corner of the app: green means you are available to receive calls, while red means you are not and calls have been paused until the time you have indicated you are available again.


Check the services you cover:
Have you selected all the services your business offers? Go to Menu -> Settings -> Services I Offer and check you are not missing any that customers could be looking for you for. (There are over 300 services that customers can request for through Spetz, you can adjust which types of service requests to be notified of at any time in the app.)


Check the areas you cover:
Maybe you are not covering all the potential areas you can give service? We recommend to expand your radius and locations to get the most service calls that you can. How to check: go to Menu -> Settings -> Service Call Locations (You can set as many areas as you like, the further out you can cover, the more service calls you can receive.)


Check the times you can be reached
Have the hours customers can reach you been too limited? Go to Menu -> Settings -> Service Call Times and make sure the days and times that customers can reach you are correct and as extended as much as possible (remember when the customer wants to speak to you, it can be to discuss and schedule the work required and not necessarily to go do it right away)


Check the number of ratings you've got
Customer ratings can have a great impact on the number of calls you can receive. Go to Menu -> My Account -> Summary and make sure your rating is as high as possible (measured out of 5). Always encourage your customers to rate you in their Spetz Customer App - the more positive ratings you get, the higher the number of calls you can receive!


Give it some time!
Has it been at least two-weeks since you registered? As the Spetz system is powered by an artificial intelligence, it can sometimes take a little time for the system to familiarize itself with your business and learn how to optimize itself for your service calls. Remember, the number of calls can fluctuate from week to week, but the moment a customer makes a request for your services and you are the best match, you will be notified immediately so you can respond and have the exclusive opportunity to close that deal!


Do you have an available balance?
Sometimes the reason service calls stop coming in is because the "Use Now, Pay Later" limit has been reached and a balance needs to be cleared, or the account has run out of service call credit and needs to be topped up. Go to Menu -> My Account -> Summary and take a look at the bottom section:

- If the "Use Now, Pay Later" option is active, a "Credit Line" will appear to indicate the maximum value of the service calls you can receive in advance before clearing that balance to continue receiving more.
- If the "Use Now, Pay Later" option is disabled, you can receive calls as long as you have enough credit in your Spetz balance. Once your initial balance has run out, including you bonus, our system will automatically charge a minimal amount* so that you can continue to receive service calls uninterrupted. To receive the best package deal for your needs, call our Business Centre and we can arrange this for you .
(*minimal amount: in UK - £100 / in Australia - $200)

(If it's simply a matter of needing to replace or update your payment details, go to Menu -> My Account -> Payment Methods and update your details where needed, if it's a new payment method make sure to set it as the "default".)
To look at a breakdown of the charges for each call, go to Menu -> My Account -> Transactions to review a report of the last 30 days (you can generate a report for whatever length of time you would like by selecting from the dropdown above)
